Job Description

Based in the Herefordshire village of Much Marcle, Westons Cider is an independent cider-making company, making premium award-winning ciders since 1880.

We are currently recruiting for a Wastewater Plant Operative to join our Process Team.

As a Wastewater Plant Operative, you will be responsible for monitoring and operating the Wastewater Plant and the Wetlands on site. Key duties will include reacting and adjusting chemicals accordingly, analysing effluent readings, and reporting any issues to the Fermentation and Maturation Team Leader.

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the following skills / experience / qualifications:

Ability to work under own initiative as well as part of a team;

Ability to build good rapport with internal stakeholders;

Excellent communication skills;

Previous experience of working with pumps and pipework;

A Forklift License would be advantageous

This is a full time, permanent position, working Monday - Friday 1.30pm - 10.00pm, every other weekend you will also work 1 day and then have the following Friday off.
