Ideal Response is expanding, and we are seeking Water Damage Technicians to take on pivotal roles within our team. This position offers the chance to lead on both domestic and commercial water damage claims across the Southeast of England, providing essential support and guidance to our growing technician team.

Key Responsibilities:

Carry out water damage restoration, structural drying, and mitigation techniques

Ensure the effective operation and maintenance of a variety of drying and cleaning equipment

Perform mould remediation treatments safely, using industry-approved chemicals

Execute fire damage restoration, including structural and content cleaning for affected properties

Maintain accurate job records by uploading reports, photos, and other relevant data into company systems promptly

Follow strict safety procedures, including the proper use of PPE and respiratory protection, and ensure a hazard-free working environment

Skills Required:

Full UK Driving License

Exceptional written and oral communication abilities

Strong organisational, problem-solving, and prioritisation skills

Ability to operate independently using personal initiative and also collaboratively as part of a team

Experience and Knowledge:

Experience in water damage mitigation, including an understanding of various drying and cleaning methods (desirable but not essential)

BDMA Technician, DewPoint, or IICRC certification (desirable but not essential)

Experienced in site preparation

Skilled in loading and unloading materials and equipment

Operate hand and power tools safely and effectively

Maintains a clean and safe job site, following health and safety protocols

Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic

Familiar with construction site procedures and safety standards (e.g., CSCS)

Physically fit and able to work in all weather conditions

Willingness to undergo training as needed to enhance skills and knowledge in restoration techniques

Pay: 12.00-17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 50 per week
