Overview

We are seeking an experienced and professional

Waxing Therapist

to join our team. The ideal candidate will deliver exceptional waxing treatments while upholding the highest standards of hygiene, discretion, and client care. This role requires a confident therapist with excellent technique, product knowledge, and a warm, reassuring manner that ensures every client feels comfortable and cared for.

Key Responsibilities

Provide a full range of waxing services, including intimate, facial, and body waxing, for both Male and Female clients in accordance with company protocols and health & safety standards. Deliver consistently high standards of treatment, hygiene, and client service. Conduct client consultations to assess needs, sensitivities, and contraindications. Maintain detailed client records and treatment notes. Ensure treatment areas are impeccably clean, well-stocked, and presented at all times. Educate clients on pre- and post-waxing care to support lasting results and skin health. Promote and recommend appropriate retail products and aftercare treatments. Support the wider team in creating a welcoming, professional, and relaxing environment. Attend training sessions, meetings, and brand workshops as required.

Requirements

NVQ Level 2 or 3 (or equivalent) in Beauty Therapy. Proven experience in professional waxing (intimate waxing experience preferred). Excellent understanding of hygiene standards and infection control. Strong attention to detail and impeccable presentation. Confident, warm, and professional communication style. Ability to manage time efficiently and maintain a calm, reassuring manner under pressure. Commitment to delivering exceptional client experiences.

Desirable Attributes

Experience with salon environments. Knowledge of premium wax brands and advanced techniques (e.g., Lycon, Hot Wax, or Sugar Wax). Additional skills such as threading, tinting, or basic skincare treatments are advantageous. Laser qualification or interest to be trained
