A global semiconductor manufacturer is seeking a Senior Product Engineer to take ownership of advanced products within its Automotive WBG MOSFET division. The role covers new product introduction, product engineering, and production support -- working closely with international R&D, device design, and manufacturing teams to deliver high-performance, automotive-grade components.
What you'll be working on
Hands-on technical ownership of new and established products within the Automotive MOSFET division.
Leading new product introductions from definition and development through to characterization, qualification, and release.
Supporting product problem-solving with manufacturing, quality, marketing, and application teams in a fast-paced automotive environment.
Preparing and presenting technical updates on product issues and project status.
Collaborating with wafer fabrication and package assembly teams across Europe and Asia to drive yield and quality improvements.
Defining and reviewing automotive product datasheets and technical specifications.
Developing statistical test methods to optimise yield and reduce defect rates.
Reviewing electrical and thermal characterization data and generating device datasheets for new product releases.
Supporting cost-reduction programs through engineering evaluations and qualification activities.
What they're looking for
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Microelectronics, or a related field (Master's preferred).
7+ years of product engineering experience with a strong understanding of discrete power MOS semiconductor devices and trench MOS technologies.
Proven ability to manage multiple technical projects from product definition to datasheet release.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills using statistical data analysis and yield management software.
Experience supporting offshore product transfers across wafer and package manufacturing sites.
Familiarity with Automotive AEC-Q101 testing and qualification requirements is a plus.
Experience with MOSFET ATE wafer and package test methods is advantageous.
Comfortable leading and collaborating with offshore product engineering teams across Europe, Asia, and the US.
Familiar with 8D and FMEA processes and concepts.
Willingness to travel internationally as required.
