The opportunity





As a "Fee Earner" you will be responsible for the continuing production of new business and new clients for Partnership Services You will work under the supervision of the Wealth Team Leader.


You will be responsible for:




providing professional regulated financial planning advice to new and existing clients in accordance with strategy's proposition and processes. providing ongoing service to practice clients by conducting servicing and review events acquiring and advising new clients from your own sources and developing new business by identifying potential clients through referral, networking, and marketing channels.#

Key Accountabilities:





Acquisition:



Generate new business and new clients in accordance with agreed target markets through various marketing activities including managing relationships between firms, acquired businesses, and referral sources. To generate new business according to set targets.


Engagement:





Explaining our Business Proposition and Fee Structure to clients and matching our Proposition to their individual needs. Then gaining formal engagement agreement.


Discovery:





Fact Finding: Gathering all relevant information including soft and hard facts as required to comply with Openwork's compliance process as detailed in their "Suitable Advice Framework" (SAF). Have a complete understanding of clients' needs and to be able to provide a suitable recommendation. To create and present suitable reports as required by the propositions and Partnership Services operations processes.


Planning: (Advice)





Provide High Quality Advice. As regulated by The Financial Conduct Authority the Openwork SAF and processes. Provide technically competent advice to key client segments - Individuals, Families, Businesses etc. Provide technically competent advice to business segments - Protection, Pension, At retirement, Investments, Estate Planning and General Insurance etc. To create suitable, compliant plans, reports, and recommendations.


Implementation:





Implementing the advised plans and recommendations by means of preparing and submitting the relevant suitability reports, and applications to product providers and the Openwork Partnership, in a timely and compliant manner. To manage and administer these through to a satisfactory conclusion.


Review:





Effectively establish and maintain the relationship between the client and Partnership Services. Understand that the client relationship and ownership lie with Partnership Services, and this must always be respected and maintained. Develop new relationships with new prospects and clients. Assisting the business in the management and preparation of Client Servicing Propositions.


Administration:




CRM





Ensuring that relevant data is gathered and maintained for existing and prospective clients, using in-house and 3rd party CRM systems.


Workload:





Managing Adviser diary systems, making appointments with new and existing clients. You will also be required to manage general correspondence and maintain office tasks in Office 365.Creating & maintaining client files, process files, workflow documents, meeting pack preparation & business cards.


Reporting:





Accurately recording your activity to allow for Management Information to be extracted from the CRM.


Compliance:





Meet or exceed all compliance requirements of Partnership Services, Openwork, FCA (Financial Conduct Authority) or any other necessary parties. Achieve and maintain high compliance standards that satisfy legislative requirements.


Licensing:





Holding these licenses is a contractual condition of Employment:



Openwork AR (Appointed Representatives),



FCA Statement of Professional Standing,



CPD (Continuing Professional Development)



Maintain relevant & up to date skills & knowledge by means of continuous professional development where required. Monitor own clients and cases whether through Administrator or not. To have an ongoing development strategy to increase skills and ability. Meet CPD requirements of The Openwork Partnership and your relevant Licensing body (CII (Chartered Insurance Institute)).


Marketing:





Assisting with the implementation and ongoing development of the marketing strategy, website maintenance & literature production. You will also be involved in the setup, design and implementation of 'e' marketing campaigns and assist in the development of traditional marketing materials.


What will you need to succeed?



Qualifications/ Experince:


Level 4 Diploma in Financial Services is essential. Expert knowledge and a clear proven history of advising on wealth products.

Skills and Competencies:


A strong knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 Packages i.e., Word, Excel, Outlook & SharePoint. Well organised and can prioritise work and meet deadlines. Ability to work on own initiative and, as part of a team Ability to deal with a wide range of customers both sensitively and in a timely manner Excellent verbal and written communication skills Self-motivated and can act appropriately as a team player, as well as having the ability to work as an Individual Displays a cooperative and supportive approach Flexible and enthusiastic and a commitment to self-development Ability to work to pre-determined deadlines in a fast paced, target driven environment A professional Individual with ability to use own Initiative A results orientated Individual with drive, determination and a great deal of Integrity Active listening skill and able to build relationships at point of contact Demonstrate real enthusiasm and have a persuasive ability Genuine passion for speaking to customers, answering queries and a clear communicator
