Responsibilities

Develop and maintain high-quality web applications using modern frameworks and technologies. Collaborate with designers to create wireframes and prototypes that align with project requirements. Implement server-side logic using JSP and Express.js to ensure seamless integration with front-end components. Manage databases effectively using MySQL, ensuring data integrity and security. Conduct unit testing to identify bugs and ensure optimal performance of applications. Utilise Jenkins for continuous integration and deployment processes. Track project progress and manage tasks using Jira, ensuring timely delivery of projects. Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to continuously improve skills and application performance.

Qualifications

Proven experience in software development, particularly in web-based applications. Strong understanding of responsive web design principles to ensure optimal user experience across devices. Familiarity with wireframing tools and techniques is advantageous. Experience with MySQL, JSP, Jenkins, Unit testing, Express.js, and Jira is highly desirable. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while also being self-motivated. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
