About the role

As Web Officer you will actively contribute towards the success of staffs.ac.uk and staffslondon.ac.uk, helping to create and maintain user-focused web content that is aligned with our strategic goals.

You will take a pro-active approach to web quality control, using analytics platforms and best practice to ensure the accuracy of web content, as well as adherence to accessibility regulations and Staffordshire University brand guidelines.

The right candidate will have hands on experience gathering, editing and publishing user-focused web content using a Content Management System (CMS) for a large to enterprise size organisation, including the governance of an extensive product portfolio.

This role requires great organisation and communication skills, with the ability to train and empower colleagues across the university to use our CMS to create and maintain compelling web content. The right candidate will be a skilled problem-solver, with the willingness to adapt to the fast-paced nature of Higher Education.
