Job Description

Job Purpose

Responsible for managing the company's website performance, user experience, and search engine optimization strategy. This role ensures the website is optimized for conversions, speed, and visibility, driving organic traffic and supporting overall digital marketing goals.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee day-to-day website operations, ensuring functionality, security, and performance.

Manage updates, content uploads, and technical improvements.

Collaborate with developers and designers for new features and enhancements.

Develop and implement on-page and off-page SEO strategies to improve rankings.

Conduct keyword research and optimize content for search engines.

Monitor and improve site speed, mobile responsiveness, and technical SEO.

Track website performance using tools like Google Analytics, Search Console, and SEMrush.

Provide monthly reports on traffic, rankings, and conversion metrics.

Work with content teams to ensure blogs, landing pages, and product pages follow SEO best practices.

Analyze user behavior and implement strategies to improve engagement and conversions.

Ensure the website meets GDPR, accessibility, and security standards.

Stay updated on SEO algorithm changes, UX trends, and competitor strategies.

Produce engaging, high-quality content.

Producing directly or collaborate with designers, videographers, and other stakeholders for multimedia assets.

Track KPIs (engagement, reach, conversions) and optimize campaigns based on insights.

Prepare monthly performance reports and recommendations.

Oversee article/blog content strategy and ensure SEO best practices.

Gain solid knowledge of competitors to stay ahead of them

Create and enforce plans that will help meet the business need

Help promote and maintain a positive company image

Support the implementing strategies to boost business revenue

To produce communications and updates to all stakeholders and internal delivery teams that provides them with timely and relevant information

To coordinate feedback from clients and stakeholders, and relay to the appropriate senior manager or team leader for dissemination with the appropriate teams.

Proven experience in website management and SEO.

Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, and CMS platforms (WordPress, Shopify, etc.).

Proficiency in SEO tools (SEMrush, Ahrefs, Moz).

Knowledge of Google Analytics, Tag Manager, and Search Console.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Strong communication and project management abilities.

Understanding of SEO and digital marketing principles.

Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Extensive experience of being a positive role model for an organisation Previous experience of engaging with stakeholders

To have experience in collaborative working across an organisation

Good knowledge and experience of Microsoft Office software, database systems, marketing platforms

Desirable Criteria

3+ years in a similar role.

Experience with e-commerce or lead-generation websites.

Familiarity with paid search and digital marketing strategies.

Additional Information

Full-time and part-time hours are available

Flexible Working Arrangements Available on Request (pending approval)

A basic DBS check is required. The cost of this will be covered by the organisation.
