About this role
As our Website Content Manager, you will play a vital role in ensuring our online presence is best-in-class. You will be responsible for the front-end of our website, focusing on optimising user experience, navigation, and ensuring our product listings and overall site align with Bleyer's goals and ethics. This is an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact on our customer engagement and business growth. Initially, this is a part-time position with the potential to grow as the company expands.
Working within a small team you must possess a strong aptitude for both independent and collaborative work, this position requires someone with a proactive approach, capable of identifying and implementing opportunities for improvement.
You will be required to work in our South Molton office, please do not apply if you are looking for a remote working position.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and maintain the front-end of Bleyer's website (our online shop). Proactively suggest areas of improvement and solutions.
Optimise user experience and navigation for all website users..
Oversee the accurate and competitive pricing of products displayed online, in collaboration with the Sales Team.
Timely ownership of the listing process for all new products.
Improve existing product listings, focus on SEO best practices.
Periodically monitor live metal feeds.
Monitor competitor pricing for core products and proactively liaise with the Sales Team to discuss pricing strategies.
Create and/or amend website pages, ensuring they are dynamic, functional, factually accurate, and engaging for our audience.
Produce weekly reports detailing work undertaken and the resulting impact.
Review and ensure the factual accuracy of blog content.
Skills and Experience
Essential:
Confident in the creation and editing of high quality coin and bar photographs ready for web use using either Photoshop or Canva.
A strong understanding of SEO and best practices.
Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
Very good overall technical skills, including familiarity with website back-office structures and content management systems.
Excellent use of written British English over American.
Desirable:
Experience in product video creation for marketing use.
Creative thinking.
An interest in financial and investment markets.
Experience in the creation of an e-commerce website.
A strong hunger to learn, grow, and develop within the role and the company.
