- THE ROLE-
As Website Editor, you'll be creating accessible, high-quality user experiences on our websites and intranet. You should have knowledge of Content Management Systems and a good understanding of the principles of content design and user experience (UX).
You'll be responsible for creating and updating content for one or more digital products (uwtsd.ac.uk and intranet.uwtsd.ac.uk). You'll use software and tools to quality assure content published on the website, addressing broken links and inaccessible content. You'll have a good understanding of SEO to identify gaps in our content and to implement different optimisation strategies. You'll also be familiar with user-centred content design principles, including web usability and user experience (UX) design.
You'll help manage requests to update or create new content from a range of subject matter experts, and work with other colleagues within the multidisciplinary delivery team (such as UX Researcher, Content Designer, Senior SEO Officer) to create and manage website content where necessary.

UWTSD is proud to be an Accredited Living Wage Employer. The Voluntary Living Wage (VLW) rate is 12.60 per hour . We will apply an adjustment to the rate of pay for this role to increase it to 27,319 per annum
