Overview


As a Wedding and Events Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in creating unforgettable experiences for couples on their special day. This position requires a blend of sales, organisation, and exceptional communication skills to ensure that every detail is meticulously planned and executed. You will work closely with our couples to understand their vision and bring it to life, coordinating with various vendors and managing timelines to ensure a seamless event.

Responsibilities



Manage wedding and private event enquiries with professionalism, warmth, and creativity. Host show rounds of the venue, building trusted relationships with couples and clients and maintain a good client conversion rate. Coordinate all aspects of event planning, including timelines, menus, layouts, suppliers, and bespoke touches. Liaise with internal teams to ensure smooth execution and exceptional service. Provide personalised support and guidance to clients throughout the planning journey. Maintain accurate event documentation and manage bookings using internal systems. Handle phone and email enquiries professionally, responding swiftly and thoughtfully. Compile sales and event reports for SMT.

Skills



Strong sales skills to ensure a good conversion rate from enquiry to confirmed booking. Strong organisational skills to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively. Excellent time management abilities to ensure timely completion of all planning stages. Exceptional communication skills for liaising with clients, suppliers and guests. Experience in guest services within hospitality, wedding or event settings is desirable. Competent in the use of Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook. Confident in learning about and using new software (e.g. hotel management software). Reporting data and information weekly to Senior Management Team.

Pay: 12.21-13.50 per hour

Expected hours: 32 - 37.5 per week
