We are seeking a highly motivated and organised individual to oversee a variety of events, ensuring seamless execution and exceptional guest experiences. The successful candidate will possess strong communication skills, excellent organisational abilities, and a keen eye for detail. This role offers an exciting opportunity to create and lead diverse events within the hospitality and entertainment sectors, contributing to memorable occasions for clients and guests alike, in addition to organising important events likes Weddings, Wakes and special occasions.
Duties
Plan, coordinate, and oversee all aspects of events from inception to completion.
Manage event budgets, ensuring cost-effective solutions while maintaining high standards of quality
Upsell additional services or packages to maximise revenue opportunities during events
Liaise with clients to understand their requirements and provide tailored event solutions
Support wider team, with general inhouse sales opportunities - supporting team with delivering enquiries back for follow up and conversion.
Coordinate with full hotel team, via function sheets and meetings around the necessary catering, entertainment, and technical delivery to ensure smooth operation during events
Handle guest enquiries professionally and promptly, providing exceptional hospitality experience
Maintain detailed records of event activities and post-event evaluations for continuous improvement
Sales planning and filling a full year of events is a must, so ability to be resilient and think about an eclectic mix of events to fill our event space.

Experience
Proven experience in event sales within the hospitality or related industries such as hotels or restaurants
Strong background in guest services, hospitality management, or fundraising is advantageous
Demonstrated ability in upselling services or products to enhance revenue streams
Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritise multiple tasks effectively
Organisational skills with a keen eye for detail and problem-solving capabilities
Effective communication skills to liaise confidently with clients, vendors, and team members
Experience in managing event budgets and overseeing logistics from planning through execution
