Job Overview



As our Wedding & Events Sales Manager, you will be the driving force behind securing new wedding and private event bookings for The Sessions House. You'll leverage our unique venue's charm and versatility to attract and convert prospective clients. Your day-to-day will involve proactive outreach, responding to initial referrals, conducting captivating on-site tours, and executing robust follow-up strategies to achieve sales targets. This role is sales-conversion focused; once a booking is secured, you'll seamlessly hand over to our dedicated planning team.

Responsibilities



Lead Generation & Qualification:

Actively identify and qualify potential leads for weddings and other private events through various channels.

Client Engagement:

Be the first point of contact for new enquiries, providing exceptional and persuasive communication via phone, email, and in-person.

Venue Tours & Presentations:

Conduct engaging and persuasive tours of The Sessions House, showcasing its unique features, diverse spaces, and potential to bring a client's vision to life.

Sales Process Management:

Manage a robust sales pipeline from initial contact through to contract signing, ensuring consistent and timely follow-up.

Relationship Building:

Develop strong rapport with potential clients, understanding their needs and effectively positioning The Sessions House as the ideal venue.

Negotiation & Closing:

Present compelling proposals, negotiate terms, and confidently close sales to meet and exceed booking targets.

Sales Reporting:

Maintain accurate records of all sales activities and progress, contributing to regular sales reports and strategy reviews.

Handover:

Efficiently transition confirmed bookings to the dedicated wedding and events planning team, ensuring all necessary details are communicated for seamless event execution.

Market Insight:

Stay informed about market trends, competitor activities, and emerging opportunities in the wedding and events industry.

Qualifications



Proven Sales Track Record:

Demonstrable success in a high-value, face-to-face sales environment (e.g., real estate, high-end travel, luxury goods, B2B sales). Experience with a long sales cycle is highly advantageous.

Exceptional Communication:

Outstanding verbal and written communication skills with the ability to articulate value, persuade, and build rapport effectively.

Strong Closing Skills:

A natural ability to identify buying signals, overcome objections, and confidently close deals.

Goal-Oriented:

Highly motivated by targets and KPIs, with a proactive and tenacious approach to achieving sales objectives.

Self-Motivated & Organised:

Ability to work independently, manage your own time, and prioritize tasks effectively.

Professional Presence:

Impeccable presentation and a polished demeanour suitable for interacting with high-value clients.

Flexibility:

Ability to work a minimum of 10 hours per week, with flexibility to be on-site for client visits and viewings, including some evenings and weekends as required. One day per week on-site for review is essential.
