We are seeking a bright, energetic, and friendly individual to join our team as a Wedding Co-ordinator.
The ideal candidate will need excellent communication skills, be well organised, people focused and have the ability to work both individually and as part of a team.
Requirements
Previous experience within a role associated with delivering Weddings / Events is essential.
Efficient, driven and highly organised.
Demonstrates excellent attention to detail.
Well-developed communication skills.
Thrive in a customer-facing environment
Organisational & administrative skills are integral to this role
Proven sales experience with a track record of hitting targets.
Knowledge of wedding trends and client expectations.
Client Management:
Serve as the main liaison for clients planning weddings and events.
Conduct venue tours and consultations with prospective clients.
Understand clients' vision, needs, and budget to provide customised event planning support.
Guide clients through planning milestones (timelines, floorplans, suppliers' coordination, etc.).
Maintain excellent relationships to ensure client satisfaction and positive reviews.
Event Planning & Coordination:
Oversee planning and logistics of events from contract signing to execution.
Coordinate internal departments (catering, operations, housekeeping, etc.) to ensure smooth execution.
Manage event timelines, checklists, and setup requirements.
Conduct pre-event meetings and final walk throughs with clients and suppliers.
Supervise day-of event operations including setup, suppliers arrivals, ceremony/reception flow, and breakdown.
Administrative & Sales Support:
Respond to event inquiries in a timely, professional manner.
Prepare proposals, contracts, and invoices.
Maintain CRM or booking system with accurate records.
Collaborate with the marketing team for promotional materials, open houses, and wedding / event tours.
Support sales targets by converting inquiries into bookings.
This is a full-time position;
weekend hours are an essential part of the job
. Own transport may be beneficial. Onsite parking is available.
