Job Summary:

We are seeking a talented Editor to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the editing process of wedding films, ensuring high-quality content delivery.

Duties:

Review Raw Footage

: Assess and organize raw video footage from wedding events to determine usable content that fits the desired narrative and style.

Edit Videos

: Create polished wedding films by cutting, assembling, and enhancing video clips to match the company's established editing style and quality standards.

Color Grading

: Perform color correction and grading to ensure visual consistency and enhance the overall aesthetic of the final product.

Audio Synchronization and Editing

: Synchronize audio tracks with video, adjust audio levels, and integrate music and sound effects seamlessly to enhance the storytelling.

Incorporate Special Effects

: Apply transitions, special effects, and titles that align with the current style and add a professional touch to the wedding films.

Client Feedback Integration

: Make revisions and adjustments based on client feedback while maintaining the original style and quality of the edits.

Stay Updated with Trends

: Keep up with the latest editing techniques and wedding film trends to ensure the final product remains contemporary and appealing.

File Management

: Maintain organized files and backups of all projects, ensuring easy access and retrieval for future revisions or reference.

Collaborate with Team

: Work closely with videographers, directors, and other team members to understand the vision for each wedding film and ensure the final product meets expectations.

Meet Deadlines

: Manage time effectively to deliver completed wedding films within agreed-upon timeframes, ensuring client satisfaction and adherence to schedules.
Requirements:

Internet Speed

: Reliable, high-speed internet connection capable of downloading 600+ GB of footage per wedding efficiently.

Hardware

: High-performance computer setup capable of handling 10-bit, 4K footage.

Software

: Proficiency in Final Cut Pro or Adobe Premiere Pro, including the latest versions and updates.

Experience

: Proven experience in wedding film editing, demonstrated through a portfolio of previous work that matches our editing style.

Technical Proficiency

: Strong understanding of video editing principles, color grading, and audio synchronization.

Creative Skills

: Ability to tell compelling stories through video, with a keen eye for detail and aesthetics.

Adaptability

: Ability to match and maintain the company's established editing style and quality standards.

Communication

: Strong communication skills for collaborating with team members and understanding client feedback.
