Main purpose of job:



The Weddings and Sales Co-ordinator will work within the sales team to convert and co-ordinate English & Asian Weddings, Private Parties, Christmas Parties, Halloween, School Proms, Corporate Dinners and Special Events. Working to achieve quarterly targets whilst contributing to the overall sales targets in place at The Heart of England.

Duties and Responsibilities:



Answering telephone and face to face enquiries on a daily basis Cover Reception/Hotel bookings when required Conducting client show rounds and final details appointments Convert initial enquiries from proposal to contracted events Preparing relevant paperwork including enquiries by emails, contract order forms, function sheets and other documents Upsell Heart of England's equipment to enhance events and maximise revenue Chasing and processing payments Maintaining and updating the company's client database Monitoring a busy email account Attending weekly function sheet meeting, briefing the operations team regarding event bookings on a daily/weekly basis Working with the Heart of England booking procedures and systems such as Guestline/Reslynx. Hubspot knowledge would be advantageous Attend weekly sales meetings, forward planning and sharing successes Build client relationships and encourage repeat business Complete regular competitor analysis and assist in keeping the Heart of England's offering innovative and current

Person Specification



You will be organised and friendly with a passion for the events industry.

Must be IT literate and competent with Microsoft programs Have the ability to work and communicate effectively with the general public, other members of the team and with all levels of management Good team player Flexible Excellent organisation and selling skills Problem solving and customer service skills Be able to drive and have daily access to a car due to our rural location Will include working on a Saturday Be able to work 5 days out of 7, including weekends and early evenings Participate in varied tasks subject to business needs Must have hospitality experience and a passion for hospitality including weddings.
