We are looking for a talented, experienced, and enthusiastic Weddings & Events Manager to join our close-knit team at Farbridge.

Farbridge is an exclusive wedding venue offering a complete experience - our beautifully restored barns offers exceptional catering and personalised planning service as well as on-site accommodation. We are passionate about creating unforgettable days for our clients, and we're looking for someone who shares that passion.

What to expect....



Lead your couples journey from start to finish

from their initial viewing, you'll guide them through ideas, logistics, catering discussions, and deliver the big day itself.

Coordinate all aspects of the big day

from the set-up of the venue, tables and placenames to briefing and leading the service team. Managing a team of up to 15 staff, plus suppliers and contractors, ensuring timings are communicated; food and drink services are seamless - right through to the evening celebration.

Provide the advice that reassures and the support that counts

by offering a personalised and bespoke service to ensure ideas and aspirations are listened to and guidance is provided to realise our couple's dreams.

Bring ideas that inspire

and go beyond the practical and into the magical, with styling tables and linen, cutlery and glassware, food and drink stations and decorations.

What are we looking for....



Proven knowledge and experience

of working as an Events Manager. It is desirable that you have also coordinated the catering element of an event in relation to overseeing the kitchen, waiting team and bar staff.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

with the ability to provide clients with assurance, calm and confidence during pressurized times.

Impeccable attention to detail

, ensuring every element of the event is executed with precision, from planning the day itself through to invoicing and coordinating the event.

The ability to demonstrate a creative and imaginative flair

is significant in helping clients build upon and develop their aspirations for their event.

Strong motivational and leadership skills

are essential as you will be required to co-ordinate a team of at least 10+ staff members for every event.

High energy and spirit

is essential in the industry as events are fast paced and physically demanding.

Excellent organisation and time management

with the initiative to manage your workload and meet demands.

Current IT and computer knowledge

of programs including outlook, excel and word.

Written and verbal communication skills

are a must, particularly in ensuring accurate interpretations of the client's brief are captured and clearly communicated.

Job Types: Full-time, Temporary, Fixed term contract, Freelance
Contract length: 6 months

Pay: Up to 17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 37.5 - 42 per week
