Duties
Prepare and cook breakfast dishes according to menu specifications, ensuring consistency and quality.
Oversee food production processes, including ingredient preparation, cooking, and plating.
Manage inventory control, including ordering supplies and maintaining stock levels to prevent shortages.
Supervise kitchen staff during weekend shifts, providing leadership and guidance to ensure efficient operations.
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and proper handling procedures at all times.
Assist in menu planning and recipe development for breakfast offerings.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, adhering to sanitation standards.
Coordinate with front-of-house staff to ensure timely service and guest satisfaction.
Manage shift operations, including scheduling and delegating tasks among team members.
Support catering or special event preparations as needed within the breakfast service scope.
Qualifications
Proven experience in food production, kitchen management, or restaurant operations, preferably with banquet.
Strong knowledge of food safety standards and dietary requirements.
Excellent culinary skills with proficiency in food handling, cooking techniques, and menu planning.
Leadership qualities with the ability to manage a team effectively during busy weekend shifts.
Experience in inventory management, cost control, and food service management.
Background in hospitality or catering services is advantageous.
Ability to work early mornings on weekends with flexibility for shift management responsibilities.
