As a Weekend Supervisor, you will oversee daily operations, manage staff, and ensure that our guests receive exceptional service.

Responsibilities

Supervise and coordinate the activities of kitchen and front-of-house staff during weekend shifts. Ensure food preparation and cooking meet quality standards and adhere to food safety regulations. Manage team performance, providing guidance and support to enhance productivity and morale. Oversee food production processes to maintain consistency in taste and presentation. Assist with serving duties as needed, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction. Conduct training for new staff members on culinary techniques, hospitality standards, and safety protocols. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen and dining areas in compliance with health regulations. Collaborate with management to implement operational improvements and address any issues that arise during shifts.

Requirements

Proven experience in a supervisory role within a restaurant or hospitality setting. Strong culinary skills with experience in food preparation, cooking, and kitchen management. Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations is essential. Excellent leadership abilities with a focus on team management and development. Previous experience in serving or barista roles is advantageous. Ability to work effectively under pressure while maintaining attention to detail. Strong communication skills to interact positively with both staff and customers. A background in hotel or catering services would be beneficial but not mandatory.
