Chef Responsibilities:



As a Chef at The Steamhouse x UE Coffee Roasters, you will play a crucial role in our culinary team. Responsibilities include:

Daily Operations:

Assist the kitchen manager in daily operations to ensure smooth, efficient service.

Team Collaboration:

Foster a positive and communicative environment between kitchen staff and front-of-house teams.

Cooking Standards:

Maintain high standards for food preparation and presentation, ensuring every dish meets our quality expectations.

Hygiene and Cleanliness:

Uphold kitchen cleanliness and adhere to food hygiene standards.

Stock Management:

Monitor and manage inventory to ensure freshness and minimise waste.

Compliance:

Implement and communicate menu changes, adhering to health and safety regulations.

Equipment Maintenance:

Regularly check and maintain kitchen equipment to ensure optimal performance.
(Please note: This role requires flexibility over 7 days, including weekends)

Qualifications



Proven experience in food preparation and cooking within a professional kitchen setting Strong culinary skills with a focus on food safety and hygiene Leadership abilities to supervise kitchen staff and manage food production Background in hospitality and customer service, with restaurant experience preferred Excellent team management skills to foster a collaborative work environment Ability to effectively serve and interact with customers, ensuring a positive dining experience
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to 13.00 per hour
