Job Overview

We are seeking a diligent and reliable Weekend Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in client's environment at Ferry Terminal, ensuring that all areas are tidy, presentable, and safe for use. This role is crucial in providing a welcoming atmosphere for clients, customers, and staff alike.

Duties

Perform general cleaning tasks including dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors. Clean and sanitise toilets, showers, changing rooms, kitchens, and communal areas to ensure high standards of hygiene. Dispose of waste and recycling appropriately. Maintain cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring they are in good working order. Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel. Follow established cleaning protocols and health regulations. Assist with special cleaning projects as required.

Skills

Experience in commercial cleaning is desirable. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Good time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively. Excellent communication skills to interact with clients and team members professionally. Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks efficiently throughout the shift.
