Responsibilities

Prepare ingredients and assist in the cooking of meals according to established recipes and standards Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene throughout all food handling processes Assist with meal presentation and plating to ensure visual appeal Support the team in maintaining cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area Follow health and safety regulations diligently during all food preparation activities Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service during busy periods Assist with serving customers when required, ensuring a positive dining experience

Requirements

Prior experience in food preparation, cooking, or kitchen environments is desirable but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate Knowledge of food safety standards and procedures is advantageous Experience working in a restaurant or catering setting is preferred Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude Flexibility to work shifts as required, including weekends if necessary A genuine interest in culinary arts and customer service
