Duties
Assist in food preparation and meal assembly according to established recipes and standards
Cook and present dishes with attention to quality, presentation, and safety standards
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area in compliance with food safety regulations
Support the team during busy service periods, ensuring timely delivery of meals
Serve Residents efficiently and courteously, providing excellent customer service
Follow all health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment
Assist with stock rotation and inventory checks as required
Requirements
Previous experience in food preparation, cooking, or restaurant service is desirable but not mandatory; training will be provided for suitable candidates
Knowledge of food safety standards and hygiene practices
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Good organisational skills and attention to detail
Willingness to learn new skills and work as part of a team
Flexibility to work shifts including weekends and evenings if required
A positive attitude and strong work ethic
