Weekend Cook for Small Care Home
```Duties```
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Cook to join our team. As a Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking meals for residents, following guidance of those with specific requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook meals according to recipes and Residents preferences
- Ensure that all food is prepared in a safe and sanitary manner
- Monitor food quality and presentation
- Maintain inventory of food supplies and equipment
- Clean and sanitise work areas, utensils, and equipment
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of kitchen operations and food preparation techniques
- Experience of food service establishment
- Understanding of food safety regulations and best practices
- Ability to work well under pressure
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
- Culinary training or certification is a plus
