Job Description

We are looking for a Cook/Chef to join our catering team at an independent living site in Cardigan.

We are looking for someone who excels in both front and back of house services, and who possesses a passion for helping to provide customers with an excellent standard of food and service.

Previous experience is essential, alongside a Food Preparation qualification i.e NVQ level 1/2/3 being beneficial.

Must have excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage and build rapport with a wide range of staff and customers.

The ability to self-manage and work as efficiently as possible on their own and as a team is a necessity.

Duties will include:

- helping deliver a breakfast and lunch service.

- Being responsible for implementing and adhering to all required food safety and health and safety standards.

-covering the Chef Manager during absence and holidays

Hours of work will be 16 hours per week, working Saturday & Sunday, inclusive of a 30 minutes unpaid meal-break each day. This means paid hours are 15 hours per week.

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: 13.45 per hour

Expected hours: 15 per week
