The Druids are looking for an experienced Supervisor to lead our weekend day shifts. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive experience in food and drink service, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences. This role involves supervising staff, ensuring food safety standards are maintained, and managing daily activities to ensure smooth service during weekends.
This is primarily a Saturday and Sunday position, but further opportunities available as midweek day trade increases.
Duties
Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff during weekend shifts, ensuring efficient service delivery.
Oversee food preparation and cooking processes to maintain quality standards.
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and hygiene standards across all areas of the establishment.
Manage team members, providing guidance, training, and support to optimise performance.
Assist with food production tasks as needed, including plating and presentation of dishes.
Monitor customer service levels, addressing any issues promptly to ensure guest satisfaction.
Maintain organisation of kitchen and service areas, ensuring cleanliness and safety protocols are followed.
Support staff in serving customers efficiently while maintaining a welcoming environment.
Collaborate with management on operational improvements and staff scheduling.
Skills
Strong leadership qualities with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively.
Extensive knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and culinary practices.
Familiarity with food safety standards and regulations.
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Good communication skills to liaise effectively with staff and customers.
Experience in food production, kitchen operations, or hospitality roles such as barista or server is advantageous.
Ability to handle stressful situations calmly whilst maintaining high standards of service. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about hospitality who thrive in supervisory positions during weekends and wish to contribute to delivering memorable dining experiences through strong leadership and culinary expertise.
You will need to be barista trained and a competent level of experience with cocktails, as well as having a personal license.
