Duties
As a Massage Therapist, your responsibilities will include:
Conducting thorough assessments of clients' needs and health conditions prior to treatment.
Performing a variety of massage techniques, including Swedish, deep tissue, and sports massage, to promote relaxation and alleviate muscle tension.
Maintaining a clean and organised treatment area, ensuring all equipment is sanitised and ready for use.
Educating clients on the benefits of massage therapy and providing aftercare advice for optimal recovery.
Keeping accurate records of client treatments and progress while adhering to confidentiality protocols.
Collaborating with other health professionals when necessary to provide comprehensive care.
Experience
The successful candidate should have:
A recognised qualification in massage therapy from an accredited institution.
Strong knowledge of human anatomy and physiology, enabling effective treatment planning.
Previous experience in a clinical or spa setting is advantageous but not essential for the right candidate.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport with clients.
