We are seeking a weekend kitchen porter to help with dishes, kitchen cleaning and some basic food prep. NMW plus share of tips. Shifts will be Friday Nights, Saturdays and Sundays. Additional hours may be available especially during December.
Responsibilities
Assist with food preparation tasks, including washing, peeling, and chopping vegetables.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, including washing dishes and utensils.
Ensure all kitchen equipment is cleaned and stored correctly after use.
Support chefs and kitchen staff during service by delivering ingredients and assisting with cooking as needed.
Adhere to health and safety regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
Assist with inventory management by keeping track of stock levels and reporting shortages.
Participate in deep cleaning tasks as required to ensure high hygiene standards are maintained.
Experience
Previous kitchen experience is preferred but not essential; training will be provided.
Experience in a restaurant or hotel setting is beneficial for understanding the fast-paced environment.
