We are seeking a dedicated and skilled driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in commercial driving and delivery, with the ability to operate various vehicles, including flatbed lorries. This role requires a blend of driving expertise, mechanical knowledge, and effective communication skills to ensure timely and safe deliveries.
Responsibilities
Must have experience in events such as bouncy castle delivery / hire.
Ensure compliance with all traffic laws and regulations while maintaining safety standards during operation.
Perform routine inspections and maintenance on vehicles to ensure optimal performance and safety.
Load and unload goods efficiently, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage.
Communicate effectively with warehouse staff and customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential issues.
Maintain accurate records of deliveries, vehicle maintenance, and any incidents that may occur during transport.
Skills
Proven experience as a delivery driver with a strong understanding of commercial driving practices.
Mechanical knowledge to perform basic vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting.
Previous experience in a warehouse environment is advantageous.
Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with team members and clients.
Ability to operate flatbed lorries safely and efficiently.
