Job Description

We are looking to recruit a friendly, approachable Museum / Gallery

Assistant to help the team deliver a high quality visitor experience

for all gallery / museum users, providing a high standard of customer

care and assisting with activities and interpretation in the

galleries / museums.



Duties will also include supervising the day-to-day security of the

venue and the exhibits, welcoming visitors to the craft table and assisting in the design and delivery of craft activities, cleaning the venue before and after opening hours and occasionally staffing the venue for special events outside of normal opening hours. You will be the first impression of the museum as visitors enter, they will need a great welcome.

This post will work every Saturday and every Sunday. Enhanced rates are payable for weekend working.
