Job Position:

Weekend Order Processor

Department

: Planning
(Saturday & Sunday 07.00 - 15.30)

Reports to : Planning Manager Hour: 16

hours per weekend

Scope of Role

Avondale Foods is a leading food processing company of Fresh and Chilled products supplying leading retail businesses in the UK.

This is a fast-paced key role in the business that requires a high level of accuracy and attention to detail, and strong verbal and written communication.

Key Responsibilities

Updating internal AX system with customer orders received

Communicating order issues or concerns with external customers and updating their systems, in accordance with the agreed protocols in place.

Running MRP system and making amends when required.

Update product set ups when required.

Support the planners with order amends.

Support the despatch department with system updates and paperwork.

Person Specification

Essential Criteria

Excellent standard of verbal and written English with strong communication skills 1-year experience in a similar role Proficient in the use of computerised information systems Ability to work under pressure and to strict deadlines

Desirable Criteria

Previous experience working within an FMCG business Experience using Dynamics AX system Experience using a bespoke planning (E.R.P) system
