We are looking for an empathetic and kind individual to join our team of Personal Assistants caring for a friendly middle-aged woman living in the West End of Dundee.

This role involves providing care in the employer's own home and completing day-to-day household tasks. The ideal candidate will be an understanding person who enjoys and is competent in cooking, housework and maintaining and organising a home. You will also be caring for the employer's friendly cat.

No previous care experience is required for this role as full training will be provided. However, a willingness to learn is essential. Whilst this role involves personal care, it does not involve any heavy lifting or use of hoists.

We are looking for someone to take on weekly Saturday morning shift 10:45am-12:45pm and alternate weekend Saturday and Sunday evening shift 18:00 - 20:00 (1 week on, 1 week off for evening shifts and weekly Saturday morning shift).

There will also be opportunity to pick up additional hours to cover sickness and holidays.

Requirements:

No care experience necessary Valid DBS is now required by law for personal assistants, the employee will be responsible for ensuring this is completed We are only able to accept applications from women due to the nature of this role Must enjoy and be capable of cooking healthy and nutritious meals Must be able to provide recent employment references Driving licence with access to a car preferred however not essential, please still get in touch! Please note, the job is located in West End of Dundee and shifts usually last for around 2 hours. Please take into account whether it is worthwhile for you to commute before applying for this role.
