We are seeking an enthusiastic and charismatic individual to embody the spirit of Christmas as our Weekend Santa. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys engaging with children and families, creating a magical experience during the festive season. As Weekend Santa, you will be responsible for bringing joy and cheer to our visitors while promoting the values of kindness and generosity.

Responsibilities

Greet children and families with warmth and enthusiasm, embodying the character of Santa Claus. Pose for photographs with visitors, ensuring a memorable experience for all. Communicate effectively with children, listening to their wishes and responding in a friendly manner. Participate in festive activities, including storytelling sessions and holiday-themed events. Educate visitors about the traditions of Christmas, fostering a sense of wonder and excitement. Maintain a cheerful demeanour throughout your shifts, even during busy periods. Collaborate with event staff to ensure smooth operations during busy weekends.

Requirements

Previous experience in public speaking or performance is highly desirable. Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with children and adults alike. Must be able to work weekends throughout the festive season. A genuine love for Christmas and a passion for creating joyful experiences for others. Ability to maintain a professional appearance while in costume, adhering to all guidelines provided.

Job Type: Fixed term contract

Pay: Up to 18.00 per hour
