We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our vibrant team. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional dining experiences to our guests. Your primary responsibilities will include taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring that all guests feel welcomed and valued. A passion for hospitality and a keen attention to detail are essential for success in this role.

Responsibilities

Greet and seat guests promptly, providing them with menus and information about daily specials. Take accurate food and drink orders, ensuring that all dietary requirements are noted. Serve food and beverages in a timely manner, maintaining high standards of presentation. Upsell menu items to enhance the dining experience and increase sales. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth communication regarding orders and special requests. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the dining area, including tables, utensils, and condiments. Adhere to food safety regulations and ensure compliance with health standards. Assist with food preparation when necessary, demonstrating knowledge of culinary practices. Handle cash transactions accurately, using basic maths skills for billing purposes.

Experience

Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment is preferred but not essential; we welcome those eager to learn. Strong time management skills to efficiently handle multiple tables and tasks simultaneously. A solid understanding of food safety practices is advantageous. Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage positively with guests and team members alike. A background in culinary arts or kitchen operations is a plus but not mandatory; enthusiasm for the role is key!

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: 12.45 per hour

Expected hours: 6 - 12 per week
