Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Weekend Supervisor to oversee the cafe and shop on weekends. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and ideally experience in a cafe environment. This role is crucial for leading staff and volunteers and ensuring a smooth operation during peak times.
Responsibilities
Supervise and lead the weekend team, providing guidance and support to ensure efficient running. Oversee food preparation and presentation, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. Assist in food preparation, serving customers, making coffee etc Manage inventory levels, placing orders for supplies when necessary to maintain stock. Training new staff members on food production processes and customer service standards. Addressing any customer concerns or complaints promptly and professionally. Maintaining cleanliness and organization of all areas. Opening and closing the cafe to a high standard.
