We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Weekend Supervisor to join our dynamic team. This role is crucial in ensuring the smooth operation of our establishment during the weekend shifts. You will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, managing staff, and ensuring compliance with food safety standards.

Responsibilities

Supervise and coordinate the activities of kitchen and service staff during weekend shifts. Ensure high standards of food preparation and presentation are maintained at all times. Train and mentor team members in food production techniques, safety protocols, and customer service excellence. Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed to ensure efficient operations. Maintain a clean and organised work environment, adhering to health and safety regulations. Handle customer inquiries and complaints with professionalism and courtesy. Collaborate with management to implement new menu items and promotional activities.

Qualifications

Proven experience in a supervisory role within a restaurant or hospitality setting is essential. Strong culinary skills with experience in food preparation, cooking, and kitchen management. Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices in food production. Excellent leadership abilities with a focus on team management and development. Previous experience in hospitality or hotel environments is advantageous. Ability to work effectively under pressure while maintaining attention to detail. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with staff and customers alike. Experience as a barista or in serving roles would be beneficial.
