The Role

We are looking for an experienced, engaging tutor to deliver high-quality lessons in both

Maths and English

. The ideal candidate will be passionate about education, confident in their subject knowledge, and able to inspire students to achieve their best.

Responsibilities include:

Teaching small groups (3-5 students) with pre-prepared lesson materials and plans provided. Delivering engaging and structured lessons that motivate and challenge students. Providing clear, constructive feedback to parents verbally and in writing. Working weekday evenings (from 4:30pm onwards) and/or weekends (Saturday & Sunday). Occasional opportunities for additional online lessons via Zoom.

Requirements

Minimum 2 years of in-person tutoring/teaching experience

(Maths & English required). Confident in teaching

primary year groups

(secondary experience desirable). Excellent communication skills and the ability to inspire and engage students. Punctual, reliable, and able to commit to termly schedules. Must live within 30 minutes' travel of Norbury, SW16.

Hours & Pay

Flexible hours: 2-8 hours per day (evenings and/or weekends). Salary negotiable depending on experience.
Job Type: Part-time

Pay: 15.00-25.00 per hour
