WEIGHBRIDGE OPERATOR - SNETTERTON RENEWABLE ENERGY PLANT, CHALK LANE, SNETTERTON, NORWICH NR16 2JZ

24,127 to 29,000 plus benefits

Based at Snetterton Renewable Energy Plant

Melton Renewable Energy UK Limited is a leading renewable energy generator with a UK based portfolio of Biomass and Landfill Gas generating assets. The group also provide management and administration services to other renewable generating assets within the wider shareholder group.

Based at the Snetterton Power Station and reporting to the Logistics Manager, the focus of the Weighbridge Operator is the operation of the fuel entering site and associated systems, including analysing the composition of the fuel, preparing samples for external analysis. Liaise with Power Station staff and hauliers, operate the site weighbridge, enter delivery and sampling information to a database, prepare reports for commercial decision making.

Key responsibilities:

Complete fuel sampling routines, as per company procedure. Carry out Quality Control checks on incoming fuel deliveries - record and report as required. Input ticket data Spot-check hauliers for relevant and correct paperwork. Liaise with stations regarding issues and delays. Analyse all fuel entering site to ensure quality, check paperwork is compliant and report any non-conformities. Accurately record delivery records and the reconciliation of weighbridge tickets and process information on a database. Identify ways to improve the efficiency of logistics on site. Prepare reports and maintain appropriate records of activities within recognised systems. To ensure safe working practices and procedures are adhered to. Monitor and report H&S on site and for hauliers - report any issues/concerns to Transport Planners. Provide support to Straw Storage Sites as required.
The successful candidate will have experience using Microsoft Office, specifically Excel, Word and Outlook and other database type systems and have excellent verbal & written communication skills and ability to use own initiative. Will be analytical with excellent numeracy skills and worked within quality control.

Monday to Friday - 38 hours per week, with some Saturday cover

25 days holiday, plus bank holidays, increasing with service
