Pathway Lead (Specialist Weight Management)
We're seeking a
developing Pathway Lead
with experience across NHS, local authority or private health settings to support the clinical delivery and ongoing development of our
specialist weight management service
.
We operate across the UK and continue to grow. The role is primarily remote though the ability to attend
occasional in-person training and pathway development sessions in the Midlands
would be ideal.
Working closely with our
Head of Operations
and
Chief Operating Officer
, and in collaboration with senior clinicians, this role offers an opportunity to build leadership capability while contributing to safe, effective and high-quality pathway delivery within a specialist service.Key responsibilities
Support
clinical pathway leadership
for the specialist weight management service ensuring care is safe, evidence-informed and person-centred.
Work alongside senior clinicians to support
clinical governance
, escalation processes and adherence to agreed clinical standards.
Coordinate multidisciplinary teams including clinicians coaches and operational staff to ensure smooth pathway delivery.
Support service mobilisation and delivery ensuring services meet agreed scope timelines quality requirements and budget parameters.
Contribute to monitoring clinical and service performance including outcomes risks and incidents escalating appropriately when required.
Support continuous service improvement using data feedback and learning to refine pathway delivery.
Act as a point of contact for internal and external stakeholders supporting effective communication across the pathway.
Support onboarding training and consistency of practice across sites in line with clinical and operational frameworks.
Contribute to documentation policies and pathway materials including use of shared platforms such as Confluence where appropriate.
Desired skills and experience
Degree in public health health sciences psychology nursing allied health professions or a related field
or
equivalent experience within health or public health services.
Experience working within
weight management long-term conditions or complex care pathways
is desirable.
Understanding of clinical governance safeguarding and quality assurance within NHS or commissioned services.
Experience supporting service or pathway delivery across multiple stakeholders and remote teams.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and maintain attention to detail.
Experience using digital collaboration or documentation tools is desirable.
Fluent in English and eligible to work in the UK.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
Pay: 30,000.00-40,000.00 per year
Expected hours: 37 per week
