The Role

A MIG Welder position has become available, at our factory in Hitchin, Hertfordshire

The ideal candidate must have good Mig welding experience, and preferably some Tig.

The role of MIG/TIG welder will include the following duties:

Welding mild steel or Stainless parts Mig/Tig. Use of a variety of hand, power and workshop tools Basic understanding of engineering drawings and welding specification. Work well within a team. Be punctual and reliable.

The Candidate

The ideal candidate will have proven experience of thin to medium gauge mild steel & Stainless steel welding. You will be able to work on your own initiative under minimal supervision. Also have the ability to read engineering drawings is essential. further internal training will be supported if needed.

Working Hours and Pay

Working hours are Monday - Thursday 7.30am-4.30pm Friday 7.30am-1.30pm (40 hours per week) Over time is paid time and a third and time and a half on Saturdays.
