Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Welder to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing various welding tasks, ensuring high-quality fabrication and assembly of metal components. This role requires proficiency in multiple welding techniques, including TIG and Stick welding, as well as a solid understanding of mechanical principles and basic mathematics.

Responsibilities

Execute welding processes such as TIG and Stick welding to fabricate and assemble metal structures. Utilise hand tools and power tools effectively to complete welding tasks. Read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications to ensure accurate fabrication of components. Perform quality checks on completed welds to ensure they meet industry standards. Maintain a clean and safe working environment by adhering to health and safety regulations. Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues and improve production efficiency. Assist in the fabrication of sheet metal parts as required.

Qualifications

Proven experience in welding, with a strong focus on TIG and Stick welding techniques. Proficient in the use of hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment. Solid mechanical knowledge with the ability to understand technical drawings. Basic mathematical skills for precise measurements and calculations. Experience in assembly processes is advantageous. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
