Location: Cheltenham, UK

Role Overview:




To carry out TIG/MIG production welding to the required standard and a range of welding and fabrication tasks to deliver high quality output to meet customer demand.


Your objectives and responsibilities will focus on...




Ensure company Environment, Health and Safety (EHS) policy is adhered to by yourself and others Ensure welding quality is maintained at all times Complete positional MIG/TIG & MMA welds on carbon and stainless steel pipework & pressure vessels Work from standard operating procedures (SOPs), engineering drawings and to weld procedures Marking out, plasma cutting, oxy-acetylene cutting, burning, grinding and drilling as required Meet target efficiency and complete daily work plans including operational bookings, as required Operate and set shop floor machines in line with instructions Operate a pendant overhead crane to move materials and finished fabrications Understand and comply with the Company Core Values Engage, suggest and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and projects, as required Flexible to complete other duties when required Develop and drive your own personal development plan

Your previous experience is likely to include....




Proven welding experience on MIG/TIG & MMA processes on both carbon & stainless steel Experience of plasma cutting Familiarity with working from fabrication drawings and to weld procedures Ability to read and work from engineering drawings Previous experience in positional pipework and pressure vessels Time served welding and fabrication apprenticeship preferred Coded to ASME IX
