How will you make an impact?
You will be responsible for welding/fabricating sensitive aerospace components in line with the Master Production Schedule and work to list.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
Duties will include but are not limited to the following:
Welding
GTAW (gas tungsten arc welding) also known as TIG (tungsten inert gas). Manual welding using a foot pedal and semi-automatic rotary and longitudinal welding. Qualified to ISO24394 Butt and Fillet.
Manual welding using a foot pedal, semi-automatic rotary and longitudinal welding.
Resistance welding.
Rolling, bending, riveting, drilling and planishing
Dressing and grinding using air powered tools and linishing belts
Cutting- Guillotine, band saw, snips.
Working to tight tolerances on small batch work in a wide range of materials such as Stainless steel, Titanium, Jethete and Nimonic.
Reading and understanding engineering drawings
A good understanding of safety whilst at work and to ensure PPE is worn at all times.
Taking extreme care and attention in handing Aerospace parts.
Contribute to SQDCP boards.
Carry out TPM checks where required.
Working within the limits of specifications
Experience, Knowledge, Educational and Work Achievements:
Experience of TIG Welding is required. (Essential)
Experience TIG welding exotic metals ranging from 0.5mm to 2.5mm (Essential).
Experience working within Aerospace and Nuclear (Desirable)
Knowledge of NADCAP requirements (Desirable).
Understanding of how to follow SWI & procedures. (Essential)
BS ISO 24394 approvals (Desirable)
