Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Fabricator/Welder to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in welding and fabrication, with the ability to work with various materials, mild steel, stainless steel and Aluminium including sheet metal. This role requires attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work while adhering to safety standards.

Duties

Perform Mig, Tig, MMa welding and other welding techniques to fabricate components and assemblies. Utilise power tools and hand tools effectively for cutting, shaping, and assembling materials. Read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints to understand project specifications. Fabricate parts according to precise measurements, ensuring accuracy in dimensions. Conduct inspections of completed welds and assemblies to ensure compliance with quality standards. Maintain a clean and organised work area, adhering to health and safety regulations. Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines and resolve any fabrication issues.

Requirements

Proven experience in welding, Mig , Tig, MMA welding, is essential. Proficiency in using power tools and hand tools relevant to fabrication tasks. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to assemble various components. Familiarity with sheet metal fabrication processes is highly desirable. Basic maths skills for measuring and calculating dimensions accurately. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. A keen eye for detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.

Pay: 31,890.00-31,979.00 per year
