We are looking for a knowledgeable and detail-orientated Welding Coordinator to join our Quality Engineering, to be responsible for welding specification and qualification, to ensure we're meeting set welding standards.

We specialise in enclosures, climate control systems, power distribution, and IT infrastructure. We provide solutions for industrial and IT applications. We are proud of our diverse and talented workforce.

As we continue to grow, we are seeking a passionate Welding Coordinator to join our Quality team and contribute to the improvement of our welding processes and training.

As a Welding Coordinator you will play a key role in driving the success of the welding provision.

Your responsibilities will include:



Ensure all welding equipment is calibrated (including external calibration) Responsible for welding Inspection Plans / welding parameters / welding work instructions / WPS Responsible for selecting and assigning the appropriate welding devices for the procedure used Ensure any NPI activity is actively managed and processed through the weld inspection process providing feedback Oversee weld inspection within the QA Lab Performing ORT testing Define the future state of skills and attributes required for competent welder qualification Align Flexibility Matrices with welder standard requirements Carry out regular skill reviews of qualified welders as per welding standards Ensure continued competence of weld inspection Manage and maintain welding procedure qualification records (WPQRS) Risk Assessments updated as per their schedules Safety Audit - ensuring welding processes are safe PPE adherence is complied with by team members and visitors/contractors

External certification in relevant technical or quality discipline Excellent understanding of Welding & Inspection Technical knowledge of welding procedures Ability to train others in the required disciplines Ability to read engineering drawings and understand the ir meaning e.g. critical dimensions, weld identification Ability to manage time and workload effectively Good communication skills, both written and oral Presenting ideas and results to different stakeholders across the business including staff and senior management Ability to understand and enforce company procedures and policies

This role will also offer you a brilliant rewards package which includes:
