About us



Citizens Advice has been operating in Denbighshire since 1949. Citizens Advice Denbighshire came into existence in September 2005 after merging the then existing services in the North and South of the County.



We are a busy service operating throughout Denbighshire with 2 main offices. Our premises are in Rhyl and Denbigh where staff are based, we also operate in-person triage advice services at these sites and at Outreach locations and events across the County.



The role



This is an exciting opportunity to help us meet increasing demand for our advice and information services in these challenging times. Experience of Welfare Benefits casework is required.



Your casework will include assessing the clients' circumstances, liaising with them and third parties, carrying out benefits checks, filling forms and challenging decisions (mandatory reconsiderations and appeals).



You will be trained on our system and processes, ensuring you have all the skills you need to succeed and thrive in this role, with the opportunity to progress within our organisation.
