Welfare Support Administrator

Job Description


We are currently looking for a Welfare Support Administrator to provide general administrative support to
the Welfare Support Service based in South Shields.

The role will be hybrid working with a mix of both home and office working. Initially the candidate will be based at South Shields Town Hall until they are trained up

The Role:

  • Be the first point of contact for the Welfare Support Service
  • Deal with enquiries and referrals from various sources
  • Provide general administrative support when needed
  • Making appointments and follow up/reminder calls
  • Recording incoming and outgoing post
  • Inputting statistical information and data
  • Maintaining and ordering of stocks
  • Typing complex documents
  • Minute taking when necessary
The Person:
  • Must have previous administration experience
  • Must have excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Must be IT literate
  • Must be able to work well under pressure
This is an ongoing role.
