A forward thinker, with a positive "can do", "will do" approach, together with the ability to work with others including Stakeholders, parents and learners is essential. You will naturally work to put our learners at the heart of everything you do.
As the Wellbeing Attendance Officer, you will play a key role in improving attendance. You will work closely with learners, parents/guardians and external professionals to identify barriers to attendance and provide practical support and promote positive engagement.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Conduct daily attendance checks and then make daily attendance calls to parents/guardians of absent students.
Update attendance records on the College management system
Schedule and attend attendance meetings
Promote and reward good attendance
Monitor attendance trends and themes to identify patterns of concern
