Wellbeing Support Worker




Hours:

Part-time (17.5 hours per week)

24,558 (FTE)


Place of work:

This is a hybrid role, primarily home-based, with the delivery of social clubs across Watford and Three Rivers, along with occasional working days at the Holywell Community Centre.


Summary



The post-holder will be part of a team that will deliver, promote, develop and record W3RTs range of wellbeing activities and services.


Specific responsibilities



accepting, triaging and recording incoming referrals. making outward referrals and liaising with other services and community groups. making wellbeing calls and providing telephone support. designing and hosting on-line wellbeing activities. planning and hosting regular wellbeing clubs. planning and delivering out-of-club activities such as outings and social events. Supporting our volunteers. Supporting in the delivering of specific services (personal shopping,
community cars, befriending and digital inclusion).


planning and supporting occasional flagship events and celebrations. soliciting feedback and carrying out surveys; recording all activities in systems. ancillary administration, promotion, community and partnership work related to the above.
The post-holder must demonstrate and maintain the following knowledge, skills and behaviours.


Knowledge




Experience using Microsoft packages e.g. Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook. Experience using Teams Lead and embrace change. Set goals that align with W3RTs vision. Knowledge of rules on privacy, GDPR, safeguarding, health and safety or willingness to learn.

Skills
