20,978 to 24,870 per annum, based on FTE of 23,810 - 28,227
(Dependent on experience & qualifications)
37.5 hours per week, term time only (days or evenings)
Fixed Term until 28th June 2026
About the Role
We are seeking a compassionate and proactive Wellbeing Support Worker to join our dedicated team at Hartpury. In this vital student-facing role, you will support the personal and social development of students, particularly those experiencing behavioural, emotional, or social difficulties. You will also play a key role in promoting student wellbeing, delivering early interventions, and supporting student retention and achievement.
You will:

  • Provide one-to-one and group support for students.
  • Organise and promote wellbeing events and initiatives.
  • Act as a key contact for students on wellbeing and safeguarding matters.
  • Monitor and report on student attendance and wellbeing.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external agencies to ensure holistic support.
About You
You will have:
  • A minimum of 5 GCSEs (A-C) including Maths and English.
  • Previous experience supporting young people in a pastoral or educational setting.
  • Excellent communication and listening skills, with a high level of empathy and discretion.
  • A good understanding of safeguarding and residential student life.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Experience working in a multi-agency setting would be advantageous.
